Google has already confirmed its most popular searched-for terms of 2014, and now YouTube has released its own data regarding the content we search for on the site. We know that Google attracts over 12 Billion searches per month, and as the second largest search engine in the world, YouTube searches are also well into the billions, although the site still hasn't released the actual figure.

So, what keywords and key phrases are we searching for on the world's biggest video site? According to YouTube, the following 7 keyword terms were the most searched for in 2014. We've added the amount of results returned for each individual keyword (correct as of the date of this post):

1. Music (236 Million)
2. Minecraft (44.3 Million)
3. Movies (17 Million)
4. Drake (12.2 Million)
5. Beyonce (13 Million)
6. Frozen (11.7 Million)
7. Happy (58.7 Million)

No great surprises there, although we'd have put money on 'Frozen' being a little higher up in the rankings. These are also probably the shortest-tail keywords available, and as such, are so generic that users are very likely to add specific keywords until they narrow the results down to what they need.

Although 'Music' is the most subscribed to YouTube channel with 87 million subscribers, 'Minecraft' is far and away the most searched for keyword in the gaming vertical. It's also one of the most popular topics for creators to produce content for, whether that's a walkthrough, a review, a tutorial, or a parody. In 2014 alone, 10.6 Million videos pertaining to 'Minecraft' were uploaded to YouTube, generating 26.5 Billion views between them. That's around an average of 2,491 views per video.

           Why is Minecraft - and gaming - so incredibly popular with both YouTube creators and viewers? A recent report from Google itself states that gaming has broken beyond the teenage boy demographic, and is one of the view categories on YouTube because it delivers both engagement and reach - a winning combination for creators, marketers, brands, and advertisers.

As arguably United's best performing outfield player last season, Martial returned to preseason training later than most of his teammates after France made the final of Euro 2016, delaying the start of his summer holiday.
Jose Mourinho clearly hasn't been dissuaded from playing Martial following Deschamps' decision to overlook him, starting him all three competitive games the club has played this season.
However, it's hard to ignore that some of his sparkle from last season has disappeared.
Having been written off by the media before he had even played his first game at Old Trafford -- with headlines of "What A Waste Of Money" donning the back pages -- Martial went from strength to strength last season.
When looking at his performances this season though, he appears withdrawn. The decision to take his shirt number off him when Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrived probably hasn't helped. His work ethic is still decent enough, with Martial trying to rekindle the magic from last campaign, but at the moment, nothing seems to be working for him.
The fans will want Mourinho to persevere with the player, but the Portuguese has none of the sentiment of the fans. For as long as it makes sense for the manager to keep starting Martial, he will, but it's important to remember that there is strong competition for places in attack.

So I woke up this morning feeling very low. Do you ever sit and wonder how time has flown by so fast and it seems like you are still the same spot in your life? "I like difficulties. I like to win the difficulties because when you win the difficulties it makes you stronger," he explained. Mkhitaryan has quickly encountered a difficulty at United - losing his first-team berth to Juan Mata, a player who might have dreaded Mourinho's appointment after their six months together at Chelsea.

Mata, for all his elegance, is not especially quick on the turn.

It is Mkhitaryan's ability to increase the pace on the counter which must have endeared him to Mourinho.

Flood claims 3 lives in Gombe, Benue

Flood resulting from heavy downpour has claimed the lives of two persons and damaged 150 houses in Kumo town of Akko local government area of Gombe state.
In a similar development in Benue State, at least one person died yesterday as a result of flooding at Udei in Guma local government area.
The rain in Kumo which started around 2pm Tuesday and lasted for hours, affected eight residential areas where it destroyed properties and foodstuffs, the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) said.
SEMA’s acting Head of Rescue and Rehabilitation, Malam Mohammed Garba, said a preliminary report showed that the flooding resulted from inadequate and poor drainage in the town.

Malama Garba confirmed that two persons lost their lives in addition to households items, foodstuffs and over 150 houses that were badly affected by the flood.
He said the deceased persons, Abubakar Yakubu and Bakari Ali Badaru, were consumed by the flood while rushing to their houses. 
The flood in Benue State did its havoc amidst repeated appeal by the state government to the people in flood-prone areas to immediately vacate their abode to avoid any impending danger following Metrological Agency’s prediction.
          The Executive Secretary of Benue State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Mr. Boniface Ortese confirmed yesterday in Makurdi that one person died as a result of flood in Udei early hours of the day.
Ortese who was on his way to the location to ascertain the extent of damage caused by the flood, further appealed to Benue residents living or farming along the coastline to move to higher grounds without delay, warning that the impending flood might be worse than the 2012 flood experienced in the country.

A Message to the youth

            As Youths celebrate the World International Day, Today, I want the Youths in Nigeria at large and Gombe state to know that Optimism and confidence do not mean we minimize the challenges ahead. Most young people live today in least developed countries, and shoulder the heaviest burden of conflicts and poverty. There can be no sustainable development if they remain on the side-lines, and I call upon Nigerians and in particular our Leaders to support the initiatives of the Youths, to give them voice, to let them grow, to shape them together as the future of dignity of a country that we are building today.                        Young people are not only for the Future, they are our present. Our Country, Nigeria has never been so young, wit ova 50Million young women and men.

They are the most connected, the most
